The Purpose

Until I arrived in Florence, Italy this January to study abroad, I never considered blogging or doing any sort of journaling on the internet to document my travels. I did plan to record my adventures in a handwritten journal of my own, which I'm continuing to do regularly. However, after already experiencing so many amazing adventures in my first few weeks of traveling, I've decided to create a space online where my close friends and family can read about and see the places I've been able to go in hopes of being able to more efficiently and effectively keep everyone in the loop! Because phone calls are difficult to coordinate due to differing time zones and internet connectivity issues, I haven't been able to elaborate or explain everything I've wanted to all the people I love! So, although I'm getting a late start, from now on I'll be describing more about my favorite excursions and trips on this blog. Hope you enjoy!
